Family culture is so important to our home.
A big part of family culture is cultivating future generations, and so much of that is by making memories together.
I try to be intentional in having what we call “together time” with Gray each day.
These are connection points we have through the day, and my goal is to have a few of them each day.
We simply set everything aside, and are intentional with our time together… being together. No phone, no distractions, just us, doing something that we both enjoy.

My relationship with Gray when he is older, is being built right now through our together time. These connection points are setting the tone for the relationship we will have later in life, as well as the legacy we leave for future generations.
One of my favorite connection points we have daily is with our handmade mugs. Most days it’s foam together, and some days we make it extra special with things like a tea party.
In these moments, I don’t just see us drinking our foam or having tea together right now. I can visualize our moments together as he is older, sitting, drinking out of our mugs, having conversation or simply sitting in the quiet, enjoying one another’s company. It is all being built right now in life.
For now, I am savoring these moments together. I will look back and miss this time in life, and will be forever grateful for what we are creating.
Do you have together times that you are intentional with each day?
