Simplicity matters

It is one of the most important things that we can cultivate in our home.

Simple is where connection is made, where gratitude is found, where the magic of the moment is held, and it is one of the greatest gifts the Lord gave us.

There is a reason that Jesus lived a slow & simple life.

We live in a culture that glorifies everything opposite of simple... but simple is where we thrive. Simple matters.

Did you know that scientifically, the human mind cannot have more than 3 decisions to make, before it becomes overwhelmed?

We start shutting down when we get overwhelmed, and it comes out in so many different areas: our emotions, health, sleep, behavior... so many areas of our life!

Did you know that on average each of us has to make over 35,000 decisions a day?

It’s all too much mentally, and satan is using it in so many ways against the home and family.

A slow & simple home will change future generations, and the legacy that we leave for them.

Let’s cultivate homes of intention, friend!

May we slow down and savor this beautiful season that the Lord has so graciously given to us!

12 YEARS!

Getting to live in the yeses to prayers that you spent years praying for, is such an incredible blessing. I’m so grateful for the gift these last 12 years has been.

After 27+ months (833 days)
Almost 33,000 oz of milk pumped
5715 oz donated
And a lot of love poured out

We are officially done with exclusive pumping!

I will forever be thankful for this way that I was able to nourish my sweet babes, and help other mamas do the same.

It’s definitely bittersweet with many emotions involved, but I’m really excited for this next season! So much gratitude is had in this journey, thank you Jesus!

Every time we had the honor to donate, Winter and I would take a picture with the bags of milk we were donating, and it’s so sweet to look back on the images we have (I’ll post a couple of them here).
