OUR STORY
Dear friend,
Imagine visiting the coziest home you have been to. You walk in and are immediately met with warm scents of orange & cinnamon. Fresh cookies are baking in the oven, and cocoa is being poured into mugs to share. The fireplace is going and there are blankets next to it, ready to be wrapped around you in a hug. You are surrounded by the love & warmth of grandma’s home.
When the vision of Kindred Home was put on my heart in 2019, this was what came to mind. A place that felt like finding grandmother’s handwritten journals full of her wisdom. Recipes, remedies, encouragement, and every other treasure you could imagine delighting in from her, to pass on to future generations. Being taken right back to that place of love & warmth she always nurtured.
This is the heart of our kindred community. Coming together to gather & grow from past generations, knowing we are writing the story for future generations. This is my heritage and this is yours.
