Simple things to consider when my child is struggling with big emotions
• Does their body need to be nourished?
• Have we had together time recently?
• Have I prayed for them, and with them?
• Has our day allowed them downtime to: slow down, rest, and play?
• Do we have rhythms in place through our day?
• Are they in a simple, calming atmosphere or a cluttered environment (items, noise, scents, etc)?
• Are they wearing something that is uncomfortable for them?
• Are the products being used on and around them good for their body (am I using products that support their wellness)?
• How much screen time have they had?
• What kind of conversation/talk are they being surrounded by? Is it lifegiving? Is it appropriate for their age?
